Beyond inequalities: Women in Malawi is a report that analyses the situation of women in Malawi and sheds some light how the problems faced by women can be mitigated. The report which was produced through consultations with various stakeholders in Malawi gives an account of the factors that influence social relationships, decision-making patterns, inheritance rights, education, health, family planning and sanitation and where women are placed in these sectors. The report highlights that for strategies to be developed that address the subordination and vulnerability of women in Malawi, it is important that the causes of the situation be identified and addressed.
