SOUTHERN AFRICANS are optimistic that the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup finals scheduled for South Africa in June and July could showcase the region’s tourism potential and boost the regional economy. This could not have come at a better time, when the
region is reeling from the global financial crisis that hit global markets last year.
