THE WORLD is watching southern Africa this year as the region prepares to host the World Cup finals, set for South Africa in June-July. A coordinated approach has been adopted to manage activities related to sports in a bid to deepen regional integration in
this period, and to ensure that all countries in the region benefit from the international exposure. The theme is “One Team – 15
Nations – For Sustainable Development”.
