One of the objectives of the Protocol is to abolish Visa requirements where they
still exist. However, Member States can conclude bilateral agreements for Visa exemp-
tions, granting a maximum of 90 days for citizens of the region. Almost all SADC
Member States have bilateral agreements among themselves (Table 4.1).
